What do you do at New City?
| |
I’m the administrative assistant. I guess I keep the ship running.
What’s so special about New City?
| |
What’s not? It’s crazy, eclectic, unique and reaches kids who sometimes aren’t reachable any other place.

I hope to someday:
| |
Be FAMOUS!!
Things I’m thankful for:
| |
My Husband! The wonderful example of God’s love he is to me. That God continues to pick me up every time I fall. My house, my church, my friends, my job.
My most embarrassing moment was:
| |
Hm... there are just so many to choose from...I think I’ve subconsciously blocked them all from my memory as they’re all to painful to remember... None are coming to mind right now. I’m sure they all have to do with my klutziness.
When I grow up, I want to be:
| |
An actress
Life’s greatest lesson I’ve learned is:
| |
God’s love is unconditional, and because of that our love for Him and service to him should be as well.
Most amazing fact about me:
| |
I have been in, I think 49 of the 50 United States (including Alaska. Just waiting on Hawaii!) I’ve also been literally around the world, taking off from Alaska, landing in the former Soviet Union and riding the trans Siberian express (bordering Mongolia) to Moscow. Also been in Trinidad, Haiti and the DR. Also, my grandparents are former short-term missionaries to Haiti.
I’ll never try:
| |
Bungee jumping!
What is your desire for New City?
| |
For it to turn into a smooth running machine where all the elements are in place for a child to run for shelter, safety and answers to their questions and problems. And make sure that it’s a place they would like to invest their lives in so that we can raise strong men and women of Christ in a place where there seems to be no hope.
If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
| |
Elegant, classic and fun
What’s your favorite scripture?
| |
Philippians 4.6, Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
What are three things in your refrigerator?
| |
Milk, OJ and strawberry soup!
What keeps you working?
| |
The promise that if I’m faithful with what God gives me now, He will continue to give me more so I can affect more lives for Him
What is life really all about for you?
| |
Living life in abundance. Never letting a moment go by that isn’t cherished and celebrated. Knowing that each moment we are given beyond the present one is another gift. I’m still working to understand and live by this fully.
What’s in your CD player?
| |
Switchfoot. Any and all of their stuff... the beach trips lately have made me very surf-chick!
