Rev. Trevor Rubingh came to Jersey City in 1994 with a vision to work with urban children in Jersey City. He is passionate about giving at-risk kids excellent opportunities in academics, performing arts instruction, career training, and college readiness. Rev. Trevor established the New City Teen Employment program in 2002 and opened the After School Center in 2005.
Rev. Trevor has a long-standing relationship with the local community where he has gained trust and reputation. He oversees a staff of twelve adults and thirty teenagers. He continues to love working directly with children, especially teaching music classes.
Rev. Trevor lives in Jersey City with his wife, Linda, and their two children.
