When: Third Friday of the month @ 7:30pm
Cost: Free
Who: Teenagers
Description: The Xchange is a Friday night youth ministry. Teens come to The Xchange with their disappointments, brokenness, pain and mess. Through the use of dramatic and performing arts they are given the chance to honestly and creatively tell their stories. It’s when this brutal honesty and God’s spirit meet that there is a miraculous exchange described in Isaiah 61:1-3.

When: School year - Monday-Friday afternoons 3:00pm-5:45pm
Cost: $65 per month (Full scholarships are available through New City and the Urban League)
Who: Children 1st-8th grade.
Description: Academic focused after school center for 3rd-8th graders. We offer a special focus on homework completion and performance enhancement as well as one hour/day on performing arts. Contact Deborah Lemmen for more information.

| City Sail |

Cost: Free
Who: Any Jersey City teenager, ages 13 – 19. (Mature 11- and 12-year-olds are sometimes accepted.) Contact City Sail for more details.
Description: New City Kids works to open the NY waterways to the teens who live here. Teens learn how to sail and in the process gain cultural exposure, learn valuable teamwork skills and enjoy the amazing natural resources that are right here Jersey City.

| Summer Kids Camp |
When: Monday through Friday mornings in July, free with $5 registration fee.
Who: Kids grades 1-8th, space is limited
Description: a Christian Summer camp focusing on music, sports, God's Word and recreation. Games, prizes, t-shirts, and other rewarding elements will be included. Contact Deborah Lemmen for more information.

| Teen Employment Opportunity |
When: Monday-Fridays throughout the summer and academic year
Cost: Free - we follow standard compensation laws applying to compensating teens.
Who: Any Jersey City Teen, ages 14-18 may apply and be considered for a position.
Description: Our objective is to train teenagers to be leaders in the workplace through the use of extensive mentoring, ongoing training, performance reviews and advancement opportunities. As a result, teen employees experience personal development in five areas: academic development, cultural exposure, leadership training, job skills and spiritual development. Who: Any teenager who completes application process
Description: Drums, keyboard, bass, vocals and worship leadership are forged together into one cohesive band as teens are not only taught their instrument, but also how to become a band that leads 200 kids in worship. Contact Pastor Trevor for more details. |
