Reverend Linda Rubingh came to Jersey City in 1994 with her husband Trevor, with a passion to work on behalf of underserved populations in high-need urban areas, particularly women and children. She worked for a number of years serving women seeking to leave a life of drug addiction and prostitution, and incarcerated women and their children.
As a co-founder of New City, she’s spent the past 15 years working with children, teens and adults, and raising her own two children. Rev. Rubingh established New City’s Child Abuse Prevention mandates and currently runs it’s Parent Support Group. She also works parttime for the Hudson County Child Abuse Prevention Center.
Rev. Rubingh lives in Jersey City with her husband Trevor, and their two children.
